What is the founding list?
An interest list, not a store. No payment is collected anywhere on this site and there is no checkout. You're telling us you'd subscribe if we launch. If we open subscriptions, founding-list members get an email first, before anyone else and before you pay anything.
What would I get, and what does it cost?
One 12 oz bag of whole-bean coffee, roasted to order and shipped to you every month. The planned founding price is $24/month, standard US shipping included. If anything changes before launch, we'll tell you before you pay.
Who roasts the coffee?
Our roasting partner, Path Coffee Roasters of Port Chester, New York, roasts each bag to order and ships it for us. Dune Shack Coffee Co. is a brand and club - we don't roast beans ourselves.
Is the coffee from Cape Cod?
No, and we won't pretend otherwise. The Cape is the inspiration - the dune shacks, the fog, the slow mornings - not the address. Our coffee is not grown or roasted on Cape Cod, and we have no connection to the National Park Service or the Peaked Hill Bars Historic District we admire.
When does it launch?
When the founding list shows enough people want it. That's the whole point of the list: we light the roaster when the demand is real, not before. Joining is the vote that counts.
What's with the artwork?
The bag and label images on this site are concept art made with AI-assisted tools, shown so you can see the direction. Final bags and labels may look different.
What happens to my email?
It's used only for Dune Shack Coffee Co. launch updates. No selling, no sharing, unsubscribe any time.
Can I skip a month or cancel?
When subscriptions open, yes - cancel any time, and skipping or pausing a month will be as easy as replying to any email we send you. No phone calls, no retention scripts.
